Responsibilities

Work with clients on corporate transactions with an emphasis on private M&A and private company financings
Lead due diligence teams and manage M&A transactions from inception to closing
Draft acquisition agreements and other documentation used in complex M&A and private equity transactions
Train junior associates and work effectively as part of a team across practice areas

Required

4-6 years of significant experience in corporate transactions with an emphasis on private M&A and private company financings, including private equity, venture capital, and general corporate governance
Strong working knowledge of acquisition agreements and other documentation used in complex M&A and private equity transactions
Proficiency in drafting acquisition agreements and other documentation used in complex M&A and private equity transactions
Well-versed in the mechanics of leading an M&A transaction from inception to closing
Experience leading due diligence teams
Strong interpersonal skills
High degree of maturity
Proven willingness to accept significant responsibility and manage a challenging workload within a fast-paced environment
Ability to work effectively as part of a team across practice areas
Willingness to train junior associates
Strong academic credentials
Strong writing skills

Preferred

Experience with M&A in regulated industries is a plus
