Responsibilities

Manage the end-to-end acquisition process for the branch for hardware, software, and services, ensuring purchases follow Army policy and CHESS requirements
Engage vendors ahead of purchasing cycles to obtain quotes/cost projections, identify pricing changes, and support budget planning decisions
Prepare and support budget formulation, justification, and execution for organizations, programs, and projects
Monitor expenditures and budget performance; analyze financial data and produce reports that identify variances, risks, and corrective actions
Ensure spending remains within approved limits and recommend adjustments to maintain compliance and mission support
Apply applicable laws, regulations, policies, and precedents governing budgeting and acquisition
Coordinate closely with the Financial Analyst and Program Manager to align acquisition timelines, funding availability, and program priorities

Required

Bachelors Degree required (related field preferred), with 4 yrs experience or 8 yrs of additional relevant experience
DoD Secret security clearance Required
Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to prioritize various tasks and assignments in a dense environment to meet defined and/or undefined deliverables
Proficiency in delivering concise briefs and reports to large groups and senior leaders, with strong communication skills to effectively convey complex cybersecurity concepts
Possess expertise in cloud technology, with a strong understanding of cloud platforms, services, and best practices relevant to cybersecurity
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Outlook, to efficiently manage and prioritize high volumes of email communication, ensuring timely responses and effective correspondence management
Familiarity with Army and DoD policies influencing the cybersecurity community, ensuring compliance and alignment with relevant regulations and directives
Utilize project management principles and methodologies (PMI) to effectively plan, execute, and complete tasks, ensuring efficient project delivery and stakeholder satisfaction
Must be able to speak, read, and write fluent English
Must be a US Citizen

Preferred

Preferred experience in using Tableau, JIRA, Confluence, and Salesforce
