The primary responsibility of the role is systems analysis, focusing on evaluating and improving computer-based information systems rather than performing software engineering or coding activities
Analyse business, functional, and user requirements and translate them into detailed system specifications, workflows, and functional documentation
Review, assess, and recommend enhancements to existing information systems to ensure they align with organizational goals and operational needs
Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that system features, requirements, and functional expectations are clearly documented and properly implemented
Utilize knowledge of technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, Angular, or React strictly to support system analysis, requirement validation, and feasibility assessment
Support system design discussions, coordinate testing activities (UAT/SIT), and contribute to implementation planning by analysing outcomes, identifying gaps, and ensuring system functionality meets documented requirements
Prepare comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, process flows, requirement traceability, and system evaluation reports, which are core responsibilities of a Computer Systems Analyst
