Responsibilities
Assist senior maintenance technicians with daily maintenance and repair activities
Learn and perform basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance tasks
Support apartment turnover processes, including painting, patching, fixture replacement, and general repairs
Complete routine maintenance tasks as training progresses
Follow established safety procedures and maintenance standards
Maintain tools, workspaces, and maintenance areas in a clean and organized manner
Respond to work orders and complete tasks in a timely and professional manner
Qualification
Required
Great attitude and strong willingness to learn
No prior maintenance experience required; training will be provided
Must be at least 18 years old and have at least 1 year of work experience
Ability to perform physical work, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, climbing, and working indoors and outdoors
Reliable, punctual, and able to follow directions
Basic problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
Preferred
Post-secondary education, trade school interest, or hands-on experience in construction, landscaping, or related fields is a plus
