Responsibilities
Partner with various business units such as electric and gas operations, Customer, Finance, Supply Chain, Asset Management, Safety, etc. to design, develop, and deploy machine learning and artificial intelligence models. This includes classification, deep learning, sentiment analytics, time-series analysis, regression, image recognition, NLP, clustering, etc
Develop and deploy LLM models to improve the accuracy and efficiency of data analysis
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and revenue generation using data-driven insights
Use advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to analyze large data sets and identify trends and insights that can be used to improve business operations and decision-making
Communicate machine learning models in a way which can be understood by a broad audience
Develop and implement data visualization tools and dashboards to communicate data insights to internal and external stakeholders
Develop machine learning models which can be deployed on streaming data pipelines
Leverage cloud and big data solutions to develop machine learning and artificial intelligence models
Think creatively to brainstorm innovative ways of using data to address business problems
Monitor model performance, drift, and accuracy
Research emerging technologies and machine learning platforms and determine how they could be leveraged to solve business problems
Develop and maintain AI and ML ops framework for deploying models to production
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or master's degree in data science, computer science, statistics, mathematics, or a related field
Programming skills in Python, R, and SQL
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Familiar with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar
Experience using statistical analysis, machine learning algorithms, deep learning, large language models, NLP, image recognition and predictive modeling
Communication skills to effectively communicate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Familiar with AI and ML ops frameworks such as MLFlow, Kubeflow, or Prefect
Familiar with cloud-based machine learning platforms such as AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, or GCP AI Platform
Strong project management skills to manage multiple projects and stakeholders
Preferred
Knowledge of the energy industry is a plus
