Responsibilities
Efficiently processing loan applications via our online platform and inbound calls from the call center
Conducting member interviews
Cross-selling lending products
Managing new memberships, checking, and share accounts
Delivering exceptional member service
Exhibiting strong attention to detail
Ensuring that each loan application meets the Credit Union’s lending standards
Referring loan applications to underwriting for approval or denial
Communicating lending decisions to members in a timely and professional manner
Complying with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws, and regulations
Supporting other lending areas as needed
Qualification
Required
Candidates must possess two to five years of lending experience in a credit union or other financial institution
Must be able to maintain a professional demeanor while performing with extreme accuracy and quality in a fast-paced environment
Effectively balance multiple, simultaneous, and changing priorities
The ability to effectively communicate with tact and discretion is essential
Knowledge of basic office functions is required, including proficiency with current technology (Windows, Office 365, and browser-based applications)
Preferred
Previous experience with Meridian Link and/or XP2 is helpful
Bilingual skills (English & Spanish)
