They are seeking an Inventory Manager to oversee inventory operations, ensuring accurate inventory levels and efficient management while collaborating with various departments.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce costs
Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy
Manage and maintain inventory records, including tracking and reporting on inventory metrics
Identify and resolve any inventory discrepancies or issues
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and products
Negotiate terms and manage supplier relationships
Implement and manage Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) programs to streamline inventory processes and improve efficiency
Conduct regular inventory audits to verify stock levels
Prepare and present detailed inventory reports to management
Collaborate with Commercial Risk Management and the Controller to ensure compliance and mitigate risks associated with inventory
Collaborate with the procurement and sales teams to forecast inventory needs and plan for future demand
Implement and maintain inventory control systems and procedures
Continuously seek ways to improve efficiency and reduce costs
Develop and implement strategies for efficient warehouse management and transportation logistics
Optimize warehouse layout and storage solutions to improve inventory accessibility and reduce handling time
Coordinate transportation logistics to ensure timely delivery of inventory to various locations
Additional duties as assigned by management
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
7 – 10 years as an Inventory Manager or similar role
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Experience with specific inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
Travel required is expected to be up to 30% but may increase over time as the business evolves
