Entry Level Engineer of Radiological Work
Naval Nuclear Laboratory is dedicated to ensuring the safety and reliability of the U.S. Navy's naval nuclear reactors. They are seeking an Entry Level Engineer of Radiological Work responsible for developing technical work documents and supporting maintenance activities in radiological areas.

Responsibilities
Develop technical work documents that incorporate engineering controls (radiological, environmental, safety and industrial hygiene) necessary for performing work on, testing of, or handling radioactive and/or nuclear material
Focus on facility and infrastructure maintenance in radiological areas including radiological support equipment (ventilation, machinery, piping and characterization), and decontamination and decommissioning activities
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in a related technical, engineering or science field; or Masters degree from an accredited college or university in a related technical, engineering or science field
Preferred
Degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Nuclear Engineering
Experience in writing technical reports
Radiation protection background
Ability to work effectively within a team environment
