Responsibilities
Partner with regional management to advise on financial decisions to ensure financial success of regional events
Develop and manage event budgets, forecast future financial performance in season
Prepare accurate and timely financial statements for internal and external stakeholders
Identify areas for cost reduction, implement cost-saving measures, and monitor expenses against budgets
Ability to interpret complex financial data and draw meaningful conclusions
Effectively communicate financial information to both technical and non-technical audiences
Ensure adherence to accounting standards and financial regulations
Assist with the building of pricing models that ensure the business is maintaining healthy margins season after season
Qualification
Required
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Strong familiarity with productivity tools such as Microsoft Office Suites
Working knowledge of finance and accounting processes and principles; Knowledge of GAAP
Keen analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
Ability to work well independently and in collaboration with others
Project management skills and ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities
Strong analytical and data gathering skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field; or 3 years of direct experience in accounting or finance
Preferred
Proficiency in financial modeling techniques is a plus
