Responsibilities
Develop, update, and maintain quality policies, procedures, and documentation aligned with AS9100 requirements
Apply AS9145/APQP methodologies to strengthen processes for new and existing products
Lead internal audits and support external audits to maintain certifications
Drive corrective action efforts, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
Provide training and onboarding on quality standards, processes, and best practices
Collaborate with suppliers and customers to ensure quality expectations and compliance
Support process engineering efforts including documentation, GD&T interpretation, and equipment-related quality checks
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or related engineering discipline
8+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment; aerospace experience strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of AS9100/ISO 9001 and hands-on experience with APQP/AS9145
Proficiency in root cause analysis and continuous improvement tools (5 Whys, Fishbone, Lean, Six Sigma)
Understanding of assembly processes, tooling, robotics, and inspection equipment
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
Preferred
Experience with plating or paint processes is a plus
