Responsibilities
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with the Automated Sort and Retrieval System (ASRS) systems, including mechanical, electrical, and programming problems and work with manufacturers to resolve these issues
Work with the maintenance team to conduct repairs on ASRS shuttles as needed, including replacing parts and components
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and modifications
Ongoing operating system training to stay aligned with new features, enhancements, and best practices
Work closely with LEs and Production staff to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
Provide basic operation/troubleshoot training to line technicians, Planners and LEs
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods
Ability to perform repetitive operations
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
Intermediate proficiency computer skills with experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions
Good communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and explain technical concepts
Meticulous attention to detail when performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and documentation
Must be able to function as part of a team, willing to be multi-trained, and maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area
Preferred
Strong technical aptitude with a focus on robotics, automation, and mechatronics
1 year of PLC programming
Experience with Dematic software and hardware
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
