Required

A Ph.D. in Psychology, Educational Psychology, or related field (earned less than three years prior to start date)
Expertise in cognitive learning science, metacognition, and motivation
Experience in quantitative data analyses in R

Preferred

Experience programming tasks (e.g., jspsych, Qualtrics)
Experience with timeseries or longitudinal data analysis
Experience with qualitative or mixed-methods analyses
Experience with communication of science to general audiences
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
Strong writing skills
Mentorship of undergraduates

Benefits

Retirement Plan Eligibility: The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), subject to the position being at least 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length. This position has the option to elect the Optional Retirement Program (ORP) instead of TRS, subject to the position being 40 hours per week and at least 135 days in length.
