They are seeking a Lab Manager to lead the day-to-day operation of their microLED, display, and optoelectronics test laboratories, focusing on maintaining and improving lab operations to support R&D and pilot manufacturing.

Responsibilities
Own the day-to-day operation of the metrology lab, including sample flow, tool scheduling, and workload prioritization
Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized laboratory environment and track lab usage, equipment availability, and consumables
Perform routine electrical, optical, and optoelectronic measurements on microLED and display samples
Operate common lab instruments including source meters, multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrometers, power meters, and integrating spheres
Support wafer-level, die-level, and module-level test activities
Assist engineers with sample mounting, probing, alignment, and fixture setup
Qualification
Required
Associate degree, technical certificate, or equivalent experience in engineering, physics, electronics, or a related field
General knowledge of optics and measurement systems
3+ years of experience supporting R&D, startup, or pilot-production labs
Hands-on experience working in laboratory or production test environments
Familiarity with common lab tools and instruments (power supplies, multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrometers, soldering tools, drilling machines, etc.)
Ability to build small fixtures, enclosures, and mechanical test setups
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
A proactive, curious, and team-oriented mindset
Preferred
Experience working with micro-LED, LED, or display devices
Experience in optical, display, or optoelectronic metrology labs
Mechanical design or fixture-building experience, including precision alignment, opto-mechanical assemblies, or CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks)
Experience managing or coordinating shared laboratory resources
