Responsibilities
Oversee full cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks (Online/Desktop) or similar software
Reconcile bank and credit card statements
Process payroll and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Prepare and file sales tax, 1099s, and other regulatory filings
Collaborate with external accountants for year-end reporting and audits
Keep financial records organized and audit-ready
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in reconciliation, accounting, and general ledger
Strong skills in Excel, including V-lookups, formulas, and pivot tables
Ability to formulate journal entries and identify necessary information
Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bookkeeping
Proficiency in QuickBooks and invoicing
3+ years of full cycle bookkeeping experience
Proficiency in QuickBooks (Online and/or Desktop)
Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Preferred
Experience in a small to mid-sized business environment preferred
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
