Responsibilities
Help the team take Marketplace to the next level
Own significant portions of the product and have significant influence on our strategy by helping define the next wave of product features and system architecture
Work at all levels from the front end user experience, to a set of robust platform services, to system level pieces and everything in between
Enjoy working on complex system software, is customer-centric, and is passionate about building quality software as well as achieving operational excellence
Demonstrate a track record of success delivering new features or products
Have strong and implementation experience, strong knowledge of web services and protocols, and an in-depth knowledge of systems architectures
Experience with asynchronous workflow, big-data and AWS technologies is a plus
Qualification
Required
3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred
3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
