Responsibilities
Responsible for new equipment installation
Perform preventative maintenance
Troubleshoot and repair Hamilton equipment
Report problems and perform root cause analysis on instrument failures
Regular commute to and from customer sites with ability to navigate within the region. Must follow traffic laws and correctly route themselves, ensuring on-time arrival at customer site
Qualification
Required
A high desire for quality
Demonstrated experience working in the field as well as corporate setting
Ability to train non-technical personnel on highly technical material
Ability and willingness to work in a safety conscious manner necessary due to potential hazardous chemicals and biologicals
Ability to learn new robotic operating systems
The FSE must possess and maintain a current, valid Driver License. Must successfully complete a motor vehicle history check
Must have personal, reliable transportation with valid registration and insurance that can safely transport necessary equipment
Experience in automation or similar field is required
Being fluent in English, both written and spoken, is required
Ability to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move approximately 60 lbs
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline from a regionally accredited, not-for-profit university preferred
The equivalent combination of an Associates, Vocational, Technical/Trade, or equivalent degree/certificate and at least two years of technical experience working in an electronic/electrical engineering environment with a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot electronics, electrical, mechanical, and computer systems
Experience in technical field service and working with customers in the life science, clinical, or pharmaceutical field is preferred
