Responsibilities
Conduct requirement-gathering sessions with business stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and resource needs for production planning
Analyze existing production and planning processes, identify gaps, and propose solutions to enhance efficiency
Propose solutions that align with business goals and optimize production planning processes, including demand management, material requirements planning, capacity planning, production scheduling, and manufacturing orders
Analyze business processes related to production planning and translate them into system requirements and configurations
Configure key components like production master data (materials, bill of materials, recipes) and integrate the module with other business processes such as warehousing and quality
Develop and maintain inter-process dependencies, such as procurement, inventory management, and quality checks related to production orders, ensuring seamless integration with other business functions
Work closely with technical teams to integrate functionalities with external systems and third-party planning tools
Write detailed functional specifications, blueprints, and process flows to define business requirements and system functionality for enhancements or new implementations
Conduct walkthroughs of functional and technical specifications with stakeholders to gain consensus and address potential concerns
Maintain accurate documentation throughout the project lifecycle, from design to post-implementation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering or related
five (5) years of experience as a Package Consultant or related
Five (5) years of experience must include utilizing SAP Production Planning (PP)
Five (5) years of experience must include utilizing Quality Management (QM)
Five (5) years of experience must include utilizing SAP Warehouse Management (SAP WMS)
Five (5) years of experience must include utilizing SAP Execution Steps (X-Steps)
Five (5) years of experience must include utilizing Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)
Five (5) years of experience must include utilizing Service Now
Five (5) years of experience must include utilizing SAP Master Data Governance (MDG)
Five (5) years of experience must include utilizing IBM Cognitive Solutions
Five (5) years of experience must include utilizing Software development methodologies like Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, and DevOps
