Principal Optical Integration and Test Engineer
Raytheon is a leading defense contractor dedicated to helping the nation and allies defend freedoms. The Optical Integration Test Engineer will work on a multi-disciplined team to assist in development and production programs across a portfolio of Electro-Optics products, focusing on subsystem integration, testing, and process development.

Responsibilities
Optical alignment and testing
Implementation of automated test and assembly processes
Development of analysis tools and analysis of test data
Design of EO subsystems test fixtures
Perform troubleshooting and process investigations
Support production related activities in the assembly and documentation of EO subsystems
Qualification
Required
Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of experience in optical design
Experience in system integration and test or data analysis
The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Preferred
Master of Science in Optics Systems, Electrical, or Computer Engineering Physics or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
Bachelor of Science in Optics Systems, Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering Physics or related discipline
Competency in analysis tools such as MatLab and experience writing C++ and/or python
Experience with EO test equipment, test automation scripting
EO hardware and software integration and verification experience
Experience with laboratory measurement equipment or techniques for EO subsystems
Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
Current/Active DoD security clearance or SSBI
ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. 3.0 cumulative GPA desired
