Learning Experience & Enablement Strategist (Independent Contractor)

Red White & Blue Thrift is transforming how their retail field teams learn and perform. They are seeking a hands-on learning strategist who can diagnose performance gaps, build effective solutions, and leverage AI to enhance learning outcomes.

Responsibilities

Partner with Operations and Store Leaders to identify root causes of performance gaps
Determine when training is the right solution — and when it isn’t
Design learning and performance support embedded directly into daily workflows
Tie learning solutions to real KPIs (sales, audit results, productivity, retention)
Personally design and build learning experiences using modern instructional design and learning science
Leverage AI tools to rapidly prototype, personalize, and scale content
Create adaptive learning paths, job aids, and just-in-time performance support
Translate SOPs and operational documentation into engaging, usable learning assets
Design and deliver high-impact virtual and in-person training
Create videos, simulations, and multimedia learning content
Support regional meetings, pilots, and training rollouts
Continuously iterate based on feedback and performance data
Identify when specialized expertise is needed (e.g., video production, facilitation, LMS configuration)
Source, manage, and integrate external partners to elevate training quality
Lead learning strategy for system launches and operational changes
Track adoption and effectiveness, refining solutions based on results
