New Grad, Entry LevelNortheast Georgia Health System is dedicated to improving community health. The Scheduler for Presurgical Testing is responsible for managing incoming calls, scheduling appointments, and collecting patient information to ensure efficient pre-operative processes.

Responsibilities
Screens all calls and accurately schedules PST appointments
Collects patient medical history and scheduled procedural information and records accurately
Obtains pertinent medical records for pre-operative charts. Sources may include physician offices, HIM, computerized documentation systems, diagnostic testing centers, etc
Assists with preparation of PST charts for nursing staff
Compiles statistics daily, weekly and monthly
Functions as a superuser for FaxCert system
Identifies, labels, and indexes all data received through FaxCert system
Participates in training and orientation of new employees
Complete all other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED
CRT experience
Good interpersonal skills
Good communication and customer service skills
Good organization skills
Medical Terminology knowledge
Preferred
Medical Terminology
Some medical office experience
