Responsibilities

Social media content creation and scheduling
Creating simple graphics and video for use on social media
Updating data and organizing spreadsheets
Assisting in writing and designing emails and newsletter
Helping with preparation for marketing initiatives and campaigns
Supporting planning, preparing for, and post-mortem for events
Use WordPress to update website with new blog content

Qualification

Required

Currently enrolled college student (Sophomore or Junior preferred)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
Able to work independently and manage time effectively
Familiarity with Windows OS and the Microsoft Suite
Comfortable asking questions and communicating when help or clarification is needed
Strong familiarity with social media platforms. Specifically, LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram
Strong knowledge or Canva, Adobe Express, or Adobe Photoshop (any one is sufficient, but at least one is required)
Interest in marketing, communications, or branding
Willingness to assist with occasional in-person events in the Chicago area
Desire to gain hands-on experience in a small-company environment
You are a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident or possess other unrestricted U.S. work authorization and will not require sponsorship for U.S. work authorization now or anytime in the future
