Amazon is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of satellites. They are seeking a Software Development Engineer to design, build, and maintain components and services of Leo's Customer eCommerce Services while collaborating with engineers to develop critical e-Commerce software for Leo.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with engineers across the organization to gather requirements, design, develop, deploy, and operate critical e-Commerce software for Leo
Work on initiatives building e-Commerce functions on AWS infrastructure and help implement best practices for software development
Develop code, build CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and dashboards for monitoring health of systems
Help engineers and build solutions which are required for provisioning and operating an Internet service providers

Required

3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred

3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
