System Development Engineer, Data Center Procurement Governance (DCPG)
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. As a System Development Engineer in Data Center Procurement Governance (DCPG), you will lead global initiatives to enhance the efficiency of the Data Center Services Procurement team by developing and maintaining system integrations and supporting the introduction of new technologies.

Responsibilities
Software development and System design - design and develop high quality, maintainable and efficient solutions. Analyze complex business requirements to architect scalable, secure, and fault-tolerant systems. Identify and recommend optimal technologies and frameworks to ensure long-term reliability and performance
Automated Testing, Deployment - ensure comprehensiveness, end to end to ensure reliability and stability of deployed systems
Develop and maintain ETL pipelines in Spark to transform and load metrics into the Data lake
Optimize SQL queries for fast, cost-efficient access by AI systems and Analytics
Collaborate and Knowledge Sharing - work cross functionally with product managers and other engineers, communicate technical concepts effectively, contribute to the team's knowledge base and documentation
Qualification
Required
Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting infrastructure
Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust
Experience with one or more query language (e.g., SQL, PL/SQL, SparkSQL, Scala), data warehousing and building ETL pipelines
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other related discipline
1+ years of contributing to automation for new and current system experience
Experience with AWS services including S3, Redshift, Sagemaker, EMR, Kinesis, Lambda, and EC2
