Senior Manager, Contracts (Hybrid)

Responsibilities

Analysis of Request for Proposals (RFP), proposal reviews and coordination, contract negotiation and estimate at completion (EAC) reviews
Supporting program management and with execution reviews
Providing intellectual Property and investment strategy development, and general contract administration
Working closely with the Portfolio Directors, Program Managers, Chief Engineers, Business/Estimating, and Supply Chain to construct, submit and negotiate pricing proposals
Providing guidance to senior management regarding contractual and business issues
Ensuring that negotiated terms and conditions comply with company policies
Advising management of contractual rights and obligations and possible mitigation of contractual/program risks

Required

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
Experience with U.S. Government contracts

Preferred

Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)
Experience as a team or program contracts lead
Ability to understand the financial aspects of contracts and risk quantification
Demonstrated ability to develop effective relationships with customers and internal partners based on understanding, teamwork, and trust
Experience working is a fast-paced environment, where prioritization is required to be effective
