Software Engineer III - SpryCIS Core Product Team

Responsibilities
Building and integrating web and mobile apps that real people use
Working with core tech stack Java, JavaScript, and AWS
Expanding CI/CD pipelines and automation efforts
Being part of an Agile SCRUM team
Mentoring junior developers and leading key initiatives
Collaborating with teams across the company to deliver impactful solutions
Architecting, testing, and deploying enterprise-level applications for clients across North America
Assisting with support-related issues for the Client Success team
Ensuring consistent, high-quality support experiences and building strong working relationships with Client Solutions teams
Participating in shared on-call rotation and serving as business-hours escalation receiver for after-hours issues
Providing technical expertise and guidance to the team, assisting with complex investigations, architectural understanding, and problem-solving approaches
Conducting code reviews and maintaining high quality standards for team deliverables
Driving documentation and knowledge base improvements that reduce repeat escalations
Contributing to testing to help ensure high-quality solutions
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on full-stack development
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Strong experience in Java, with deep understanding of object-oriented design and patterns
Experience with modern web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular or React
Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL
Experience working with cloud platforms, specifically AWS
Experience with agile methodologies
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
Experience mentoring junior engineers and fostering a collaborative learning environment
Proven experience with production support, on-call duties, and incident response, including triaging issues, managing escalations, and maintaining system stability in live environments
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
A passion for continuous learning and professional development
Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop scalable solutions for complex problems
