Responsibilities
Collect production samples from designated plant areas and transport them to the laboratory for analysis
Perform laboratory testing and basic chemical analyses on routine sample types
Conduct in-plant quality checks, such as verifying bucket weights and ensuring lot-stamping equipment is functioning properly
Record laboratory data accurately and in a timely manner
Report deviations from procedures or expected results to management
Assist with ISO 9001 compliance activities and periodic internal audits
Provide laboratory coverage as needed to support business continuity
Maintain housekeeping standards in assigned plant and lab areas
Follow all site safety rules and required procedures
Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
Qualification
Required
High school diploma
Ability to follow laboratory procedures and maintain accurate records
Commitment to safety and adherence to established protocols
Preferred
Chemistry coursework or prior laboratory experience
Associate degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field
Lean/Six Sigma certification
