Talent Acquisition Partner

Resorts World Las Vegas is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner who will be the face of the organization in the community. The role involves overseeing the recruitment process, collaborating with department managers, and implementing effective recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process
Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria
Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization
Assists with job posting and advertisement processes
Screens applications and select qualified candidates
Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials
Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders
Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details
Lead the planning and execution of external career fairs and in‑house recruiting events to strengthen talent pipelines, elevate employer brand visibility, and create consistent candidate engagement opportunities
Build and maintain strong partnerships with key community organizations to expand talent pipelines and connect qualified candidates with open opportunities
Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies
Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc
Perform other job-related duties as requested

Required

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics
Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles
Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment
Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Ability to travel to local recruitment events
Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays
High school diploma or equivalent
1 year experience working in Recruitment or other area within HR
Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
Position required licenses
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Bending and reaching
Transporting, pushing, pulling, lifting and maneuvering items weighing up to 20 lbs

Preferred

Familiarity with hotel/casino industry, job classifications & operations
Ability to effectively communicate in another language (i.e. bilingual in English and Spanish)
Previous experience with Workday Applicant Tracking System
Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting
