Responsibilities
Create and submit real-time spot market pricing to Mid-Market and Enterprise customers through web portals, API connections, email, and other communication channels
Enhance Uber Freight's shipper knowledge by mastering customer networks, understanding price points, identifying opportunities, and providing timely communication
Maintain a constant awareness of US freight market conditions and advise other Uber Freight team members on changes, trends, and insights noticed in the Spot Market
Develop direct customer relationships, when appropriate, to help grow existing Uber Freight accounts
Pursue spot freight opportunities that help Uber Freight achieve its volume and margin OKRs
Utilize internal and external pricing tools and databases to inform your spot pricing decisions
Take appropriate risks, be creative, go the extra mile for customers, and be tenacious every day
Qualification
Required
1+ years of experience in freight pricing or 2+ years in customer or carrier sales (or a related freight field)
Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong stakeholder management abilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Preferred
Knowledge of SQL is a plus, but not required
Proficiency in common analytics and reporting tools (Tableau, Google Data Studio, Google Data Studio, Looker)
