Akkodis is seeking a Cosmos MSBI Developer for a Contract with a client in Bellevue, WA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing robust data models and delivering insightful analytics through Azure-based data platforms.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end BI solutions using MSBI stack (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS), Power BI, and Microsoft Fabric to support enterprise reporting and analytics needs

Build and optimize Power BI data models, dashboards, and reports leveraging DAX, ensuring high performance, accuracy, and usability

Develop and manage data integration pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Synapse Analytics, and Cosmos DB for large-scale data processing

Analyze complex and high-volume datasets to identify data quality issues, implement corrective measures, and ensure data consistency and reliability

Apply strong data warehouse and database design principles to support scalable, secure, and efficient analytics solutions

Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable insights through data analysis, visualization, and presentation, enabling data-driven decision-making

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (master's degree preferred)

10+ years of hands-on experience as a BI Developer with strong exposure to MSBI and Azure BI platforms

Proven expertise in Power BI, DAX, SSIS, SSAS, and T‑SQL, with the ability to design and deliver enterprise‑level reporting and analytics solutions

Strong experience working with Azure Data Services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Synapse Analytics, Cosmos DB, and Microsoft Fabric, along with excellent data analysis and problem‑solving skills
