Construction
Responsibilities
Analyze drawings and specs to develop accurate bids
Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for pricing
Prepare quantity take-offs, bid breakdowns, and proposal documents
Attend pre-bid walk-throughs and ensure bid coverage
Review and qualify proposals, summarize scopes of work
Finalize Bid Book and support hand-off to Project Managers
Assist with contract reviews and ongoing project support
Qualification
Required
A minimum of 3 years of estimating experience
A strong understanding of financial practices, accounting policies and computer related programs
Excellent communication and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines
Preferred
Experience with Sage, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar program
