Director of Human Resources
hireneXus is seeking a Director of Human Resources who will oversee all U.S.-based HR activities and serve as a strategic partner to business leadership. The role involves providing guidance across employee relations, benefits, talent management, and compliance, while ensuring that HR programs are consistent and scalable across all locations.

Responsibilities
Serve as a strategic advisor to U.S. business leaders on employee relations, workforce planning, talent management, learning and development, and HR compliance
Translate priorities and direction from the Senior Leadership Team into HR strategies and initiatives that enhance performance, build capability, and support growth
Partner with leaders to manage organizational change, mitigate risk, and strengthen company culture
Lead the delivery of HR services across all U.S. locations, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and a high standard of service
Manage internal and external HR resources to support field, regional, and corporate operations
Drive continuous improvement of HR processes, tools, and workflows to increase efficiency and scalability
Oversee employee records, reporting, and core employee lifecycle processes, including benefits and insurance administration
Maintain regular communication with site leaders to ensure timely and accurate payroll, benefits, and workforce reporting
Proactively manage employee relations matters, ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant resolution
Advise leaders on complex employee relations issues, investigations, and performance management matters
Ensure compliance with all applicable U.S. federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Escalate high-risk or sensitive matters to the VP of HR and legal partners as appropriate, including policy updates and regulatory changes
Lead talent review, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives across U.S. operations
Partner with Learning & Development to strengthen leadership capability, manager effectiveness, and career pathways
Support performance management processes, including goal setting, calibration, coaching, and documentation standards
Collaborate with internal and external Talent Acquisition partners to forecast staffing needs, address hard-to-fill roles, and plan workforce requirements
Support initiatives to improve retention, internal mobility, and workforce stability
Champion employee engagement initiatives that promote collaboration, communication, and a strong performance-oriented culture
Help transition the organization from founder-led practices to enterprise-wide ways of working, reducing legacy barriers to integration
Foster a culture of accountability, trust, and high performance across U.S. operations
Prepare and analyze HR metrics to identify trends in turnover, hiring, engagement, and performance
Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership
Ensure accurate, timely reporting of HR KPIs and workforce analytics
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required
8–10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, ideally supporting multi-site or geographically dispersed operations
Strong knowledge of U.S. employment laws and regulatory requirements across multiple states
Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
Proven coaching ability and experience operating as a strategic HR business partner
Trusted advisor with deep expertise in employee relations, performance management, and HR best practices
Ability to manage multiple priorities and locations in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Experience with HRIS platforms such as ADP, Workday, or other enterprise-wide systems
Preferred
Master's degree preferred
Experience in mid-sized to large organizations with operational or field-based workforces preferred
