Responsibilities
Communicate with field technicians on the status of parts orders
Communicate with field technicians and customers to identify parts by researching drawings, parts books, databases, catalogs, and other available resources for accurate part identification
Contact vendors to identify and/or validate part definition, price & availability
Enter stock and vendor parts orders. Create parts purchase orders and submit to vendor
Communicate with customers regarding pricing, delivery & purchase requirements, and obtain customer purchase orders
Provide technical parts support for other departments, i.e., Applications Engineering, Tooling, etc
Provide phone support for the service parts queue as needed
Other miscellaneous duties and responsibilities as required by the position
Qualification
Required
One + years of experience in maintenance/repair of electrical and mechanical systems
CNC repair experience helpful
Degree/certificate in related field; Mechatronics, electrical/mechanical or electronics, Automation Technology, Automated Machinery Systems, Robotics, etc
Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics
Excellent technical, communication, and presentation skills
Ability to organize and track numerous details and projects
Ability to interact professionally and tactfully with internal and external customers
Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
Ability to investigate through research and conversation and resolve problems or questions
Solid computer knowledge and data entry skill
