Generate New Business: Actively prospect and generate new commercial lines business through networking, referrals, and cold calling
Client Relationship Management: Develop and expand relationships with current clients, providing exceptional customer service and identifying opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling
Needs Assessment: Evaluate clients' insurance and risk management needs and propose suitable coverage options
Sales and Presentations: Prepare and present proposals to prospective and existing clients, showcasing the value of our products and services
Pipeline Management: Maintain a consistently strong pipeline of new business prospects using our CRM system
Market Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and product knowledge to provide expert advice to clients
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the account management team to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction
Qualification
Required
Proven track record of success in insurance sales
Experience in a related B2B sales role will also be considered
Must possess a valid Property & Casualty (P&C) license, or have the ability to get licensed
Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
Self-motivated, highly organized, and detail-oriented
Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
