Responsibilities
Assist with compiling monthly reports for the client, showcasing organic and secured placements
Conduct research to aid in the strategy development process for current clients and new business pitches
Create and distribute mailers, press kits, and briefing kits
Draft media materials, including but not limited to press releases, fact sheets, briefing sheets and pitches
Identify key trends to help teams stay on top of current buzzworthy news
Manage the day-to-day admin activities for 1-3 accounts
Monitor client and competitor media coverage and draft coverage recaps for the team
Participate in brainstorming sessions and program ideation
Work closely with account team members to develop and deliver key client deliverables, learning the basics of the clients’ business
Qualification
Required
Basic understanding of social media platforms
Collaborative spirit, results driven with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work against deadlines
Excellent written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
Familiar with the public relations, marketing, or communications discipline through past coursework, internships, or personal experiences
MS Office proficiency is a must
Must be pro-active and able to operate effectively both independently and within a team
Passion for and understanding of public relations and media landscape
Strong organizational skills
