Design, build, and maintain production-grade software across the stack
Develop high-performance backend systems primarily in Python
Build clean, responsive, and intuitive frontend experiences using React
Collaborate closely with product and research teams to translate complex ideas into usable systems
Contribute to technical architecture decisions and raise the overall engineering bar
Operate effectively in an environment with high autonomy, ownership, and impact
Qualification
Required
2+ years of professional software engineering experience
Experience working at a high-growth startup, ideally with less than 100 people
Strong performance in math, algorithms, or competitive programming environments (e.g., math Olympiads, ICPC, Codeforces, Kaggle, etc.)
Solid experience with Python for backend development
Hands-on experience with React (or similar modern frontend frameworks)
Strong computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, systems thinking)
Ability to move quickly while maintaining high standards for correctness and quality
Preferred
Exposure to or hands-on experience with machine learning (model integration, experimentation, or applied ML systems)
Experience at a high-frequency trading firm, quantitative trading firm, or similarly performance-critical environment
Experience working at a high-growth startup, particularly in early or scaling stages
Familiarity with distributed systems, performance optimization, or real-time systems
