Responsibilities

Provide 24/7 remote and over-the-phone administration, monitoring, and technical support for a large government enterprise environment
Monitor and manage critical IT infrastructure in a Network Operations Center (NOC) to ensure system availability, performance, and security
Ensure high availability and reliability of enterprise systems supporting nationwide operations
Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain enterprise systems using tools such as SCCM, SCOM, Splunk, SolarWinds, and Cisco Prime
Administer Microsoft Active Directory in a multi-site environment, managing 5,000+ user accounts, including account provisioning, access controls, DNS, and Group Policy Objects (GPOs)
Perform system maintenance, patching, and upgrades in compliance with federal IT security standards and policies
Design, implement, and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions to minimize downtime and reduce data loss risk
Develop and execute outage response and incident management plans, initiating response actions within 30 minutes to meet operational and compliance requirements
Manage and maintain automated patch management across all supported sites to reduce security vulnerabilities and improve system resilience
Respond to incidents via phone, email, and ticketing systems, effectively multitasking in a fast-paced operational environment
Collaborate with cybersecurity, network, and operations teams to ensure alignment with security controls, compliance mandates, and service-level objectives
Document system configurations, procedures, and operational changes to support audits, continuity planning, and knowledge transfer

Required

6 years IT Help customer support experience in a Windows Active Directory environment comparable to a large government enterprise environment; OR
6 years of experience in a Computer, Windows Active Directory, network, IT operations, and IT hardware support in an IT environment; AND
Minimum 2 years IT customer support experience
Experience providing 24/7 enterprise IT or NOC support in a government or large enterprise environment
Hands-on experience with enterprise monitoring and management tools (SCCM, SCOM, Splunk, SolarWinds, Cisco Prime, or similar)
Solid understanding of networking concepts, server infrastructure, and desktop applications
Ability to multitask effectively while handling phone calls, emails, alerts, and incident tickets
Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
Ensure high availability and reliability of enterprise systems supporting nationwide operations
