They are seeking a detail-driven, commercially minded accounting professional to own the global month-end close and accounting execution across multiple legal entities, ensuring accurate financial reporting and maintaining audit readiness.

Responsibilities
Run the month-end engine: Own the global month-end close end-to-end, delivering timely, accurate, and well-supported results across all legal entities
Keep the ledger rock-solid: Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and lead global consolidation, including intercompany reconciliations and eliminations, so our reporting is consistent and reliable everywhere we operate
Own revenue & complex accounting: Lead group revenue recognition policy and support accounting for complex or non-routine transactions, applying sound judgment in line with established accounting standards
Support smart tax outcomes: Own tax accounting and support tax strategy by ensuring tax positions are appropriately recognised, while working closely with external advisors and FinOps on compliance
Power meaningful reporting: Deliver accurate financial statements and consolidated actuals, providing clear variance analysis and accounting insight to support monthly management and board reporting led by the Controller. You’ll also partner with FP&A to ensure key SaaS metrics are built on solid financial foundations
Lead audits with confidence: Take ownership of annual financial audits across multiple regions, working closely with auditors and legal counsel to meet governance and regulatory requirements
Improve how we work: Spot opportunities to automate, streamline, and improve accounting processes, helping us scale smarter through better systems and technology
Protect the business: Monitor financial risks and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in Accounting
CPA qualification
Minimum 8 years' accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role
Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS
Experience with modern ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite)
Advanced Excel skills
Proven audit leadership experience (Big 4)
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
Preferred
SaaS, technology, or professional services experience
Exposure to multi-entity or international accounting environments
