Responsibilities
Lead design control deliverables and guide cross‑functional teams through product development activities
Drive risk management efforts from concept through commercialization, including FMEAs and risk assessments
Oversee design verification and validation planning, execution, and resolution of investigation findings
Support test method development and lead validation of new and existing test methods
Collaborate with manufacturing teams to support process development, qualification, and component specification definition
Ensure compliance with FDA, EUMDR, and internal QMS requirements while supporting audits and quality system improvements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field
3–5 years of medical device (non‑software) experience, ideally supporting development quality
Experience leading risk management activities, including FMEAs and risk assessments
Experience in test method development and validation within regulated medical device environments
