The Zeidan Laboratory invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow with expertise in human fMRI research, focusing on neural mechanisms underlying subjective experience and psychological transformation.
Responsibilities
Will serve as project lead
Lead and support human fMRI studies
Analyze and interpret neuroimaging data
Collaborate on study design and grant development
Prepare manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals
Qualification
Required
PhD, MD, or equivalent terminal degree
Substantial hands-on experience with human fMRI (acquisition and/or analysis)
Experience working directly with human participants and patients
Familiarity with IRB protocols and ethical human-subjects research
Publication record
Preferred
Experience with task-based and/or resting-state fMRI
Proficiency with common analysis tools (e.g., FSL or similar)
Interest in consciousness, meditation, psychedelics, pain and/or near-death experiences
Clinical or translational research experience
