Responsibilities

Create and improve large-scale electrical systems and machinery used in manufacturing, power generation, and transmission

Oversee the testing, installation, and maintenance of electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety

Work closely with vendors, contractors, engineers, and maintenance teams to ensure systems meet design and operational standards

Leverage computer-aided design (CAD) tools and engineering software to develop and refine system designs

Partner with planning and design teams to ensure equipment and tooling support efficient, high-quality production

Analyze equipment proposals, specifications, and manuals to assess feasibility and recommend improvements

Direct engineering teams in building test equipment and developing procedures for system testing and validation

Monitor installations and recommend design changes to prevent malfunctions and improve system reliability

Use data and statistical methods to forecast equipment capabilities and support long-term manufacturing goals
