Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract position. This role involves developing robust data pipelines and implementing data models using Apache Spark and AWS services to support large-scale analytics.

Responsibilities

Designing and developing scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines using Apache Spark with Java, integrating data from diverse sources into AWS data lakes and warehouses
Leveraging AWS services such as S3, Redshift, Glue, EMR, Lambda, Kinesis, and DynamoDB for data processing, storage, and analytics
Optimizing Spark applications and AWS data workflows for performance, cost efficiency, and reliability
Designing and implementing data models for structured and unstructured data while contributing to overall data architecture strategy
Collaborating with data scientists, analysts, and cross‑functional teams to deliver data solutions aligned with business needs
Implementing monitoring, troubleshooting, security, and governance practices to ensure data quality and system stability

Qualification

Apache SparkAWS servicesJavaETL/ELT pipelinesData engineering

Required

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
8–10 years of experience in data engineering, big data technologies, and AWS‑based data solutions
Deep hands‑on expertise in Java and Apache Spark for developing scalable ETL/ELT pipelines
Extensive experience working with AWS services such as S3, Redshift, Glue, EMR, Lambda, Kinesis, and DynamoDB
