Responsibilities
Initiate purchase orders for materials/supplies based on approved requisitions and ERP data
Set up new vendors/products and maintain ERP purchasing data
Place orders, track deliveries, and expedite shipments when needed
Issue RFQs and analyze quotations for management review
Reconcile inventory, invoices, and resolve discrepancies
Coordinate vendor shipments to meet monthly production deadlines
Ensure purchasing compliance with ISO standards, policies, and ethical practices
Support other buyers and assist with additional projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Bachelor's Degree OR 1–3 years in supply chain
Strong analytical skills and advanced math ability
Professional communication and phone etiquette
Understanding of basic accounting principles
Proficiency in Excel, Word, and general typing skills
Self-motivated, dependable, and able to make sound decisions
Eligible to receive ITAR and CUI-controlled information
Preferred
Experience with ERP systems
Contract negotiation familiarity
