Responsibilities

Inspect large equipment before and after use to ensure it is working properly
Load and unload cargo and move them to the appropriate storage area
Maneuvering motorized heavy equipment to ensure the accurate removal and placement of materials
Grade or reshape the land in preparation for the construction to ensure a level base or get a specific slope on the land
Dirt work and loading and offloading rocks, debris, and other materials from heavy equipment
Follow all safety procedures while operating equipment
Read and interpret blueprints, maps, and drawings to determine work requirements
Collaborate with other team members and communicate effectively to ensure project success
Operate equipment in a variety of weather conditions and terrains
Perform regular maintenance and minor repairs when necessary

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
2 years of experience working with a trackhoe, dozer, compactor, or roller
Grading and dirt work experience

Strong work ethic and physical ability to lift 50+ pounds
Must have all PPE and reliable transportation to get to work
