Monitor system accounts for new patient cases
Take inbound calls and make outbound calls to patients
Confirm insurance approvals or denials, copays, and pharmacy details
Contact insurance companies to verify benefits and coverage
Help resolve complex insurance or pharmacy issues
Provide clear, empathetic support to patients and provider offices
Answer patient questions about their case status
Enter accurate and detailed notes while speaking with patients
Manage patient cases from first contact through final approval or denial
Share updates with team members and leadership
Identify, document, and submit adverse events when required
Research alternative funding options or foundations for patient support
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED (required)
Strong phone communication and data entry skills
Preferred
Previous experience in healthcare, insurance, pharmacy, or patient services (preferred)
Experience with prior authorizations or appeals (highly desired)
Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, or commercial insurance is a plus
