Responsibilities
Apply knowledge of computer science concepts and techniques, mathematics, and methods of statistical analysis to develop and apply automated solutions to engineering, scientific, or business data acquisition and management problems
Preparation, conduction, and automation of API tests
Improve and maintain testing environments for automation
Create documentation and report bugs
Communicate and cooperate with software engineers regarding design approaches and modifications
Suggest and implement ideas to improve automation infrastructure
Sharing quality knowledge with other team members
All candidates should be prepared to participate in processes applicable to full software development lifecycle activities including requirements, design, development, integration, and test
Good communication skills and team player
Self-motivated individual willing to learn and work in a fast-paced environment
Qualification
Required
BS degree in a Computer Science, Computer Systems Information Management, Electrical Engineering or Mathematics
3+ years of software experience developing in Java and using Maven
Experience with developing test scenarios for use in automated testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Robot Framework, Selenium)
Experience creating test data, cases, and scenarios from written requirements
Proficient with Red Hat with knowledge of Git version control software
Familiarity with Atlassian suite including Jira and Confluence. BitBucket and Bamboo experience is a plus
Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance or higher or be eligible to obtain one and maintain a clearance
Candidates will be required to pass a background check for this position
