Writing stories on deadline across platforms
Reporting stories and conducting interviews

Taking on and organizing special content projects as needed, and other duties as assigned

Required

BA/BS degree, preferably in journalism or communications, related field or equivalent training and/or experience
Minimum 2 years experience writing for a high volume, digital news operation
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proven ability to work independently
Strong writing and research skills and impeccable journalistic standards
Ability to respond quickly to breaking news
Strong reporting and interviewing skills and the ability to cultivate new sources
