Assistant/Associate Professor of Finance
Tennessee Technological University is seeking candidates for a full-time tenure-track position at the Assistant/Associate Professor rank in Finance. The role involves teaching at the undergraduate and MBA levels, conducting research, and engaging with the business community.

Responsibilities
Teaching responsibilities will be at the undergraduate level and/or MBA level
The typical teaching load is 9 hours (3 classes) per semester
Instruction is provided in classroom, online, and hybrid learning environments
Research leading to high-quality refereed publications is required
Engagement with the business community and service to the university and the profession are expected
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. or DBA with a specialization in Finance or a closely related field from an AACSB-accredited college of business
ABDs in advanced dissertation stages will also be considered, but the degree must be conferred by 08/01/2026
Candidates should demonstrate the potential for excellent teaching, research, and service to the university and profession
Preferred
Teaching experience, including online/hybrid modalities
Professional experience and/or certifications
