Recruiting and Onboarding Liaison - People Development (1.0 FTE)
St. Peter's Health is seeking a Recruiting & Onboarding Coordinator to ensure a seamless transition from candidate to fully integrated team member. This role is responsible for the operational execution of recruiting coordination, onboarding delivery, and early-tenure engagement to support quality of hire, speed, and retention across the organization.

Responsibilities
Coordinate interviews, panel schedules, and candidate communications across multiple departments
Maintain consistent, professional communication with candidates throughout the hiring process
Support recruiters and hiring managers by ensuring interview logistics and documentation are completed accurately and on time
Ensure ATS data accuracy, status updates, and compliance with hiring processes
Coordinate offer letter routing, approvals, and delivery in partnership with recruiters and HR
Manage pre-employment requirements including background checks, licensure verification, health screenings, and start-date readiness
Proactively resolve issues that could delay a candidate’s start date
Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates between offer acceptance and Day 1
Execute the onboarding experience from offer acceptance through 180 days using established onboarding playbooks
Ensure Day 1 readiness including system access, orientation scheduling, and department hand-offs
Drive completion of 30-, 60-, and 90-day onboarding touch-points in partnership with managers and leaders
Monitor early-tenure engagement indicators and escalate risks when onboarding breakdowns occur
Reinforce performance expectations established during hiring through onboarding follow-ups
Maintain data integrity within ATS and onboarding platforms
Track and report key onboarding and recruiting coordination metrics such as time-to-start, onboarding completion rates, and early turnover indicators
Identify opportunities to improve candidate experience, onboarding consistency, and workflow efficiency
Support compliance with healthcare hiring, credentialing, and onboarding standards
Qualification
Required
Prior experience in recruiting coordination, onboarding coordination, HR operations, or talent acquisition support
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple candidates and priorities simultaneously
High attention to detail with strong follow-through and accountability
Ability to communicate professionally with candidates, hiring managers, and HR partners
Comfort working within ATS and onboarding systems; Oracle HCM experience a plus
A service-oriented mindset with a focus on candidate experience and retention outcomes
Preferred
Experience supporting high-volume or healthcare recruiting environments preferred
