IT Analyst

The IT Analyst will manage IT onboarding and offboarding processes, maintain IT asset inventory, and oversee software license management, ensuring efficient IT operations across the institution.

Responsibilities
Own the IT onboarding and offboarding process, ensuring new employees receive the required hardware, technology, accounts, and documentation
Collaborate with all relevant departments to ensure the onboarding and offboarding processes are efficient
Maintain a complete and accurate inventory of institutional IT assets, including hardware, software, and peripherals
Manage software approval workflow and associated documentation
Manage lifecycle processes for all technology assets, including procurement, deployment, replacement, and decommissioning
Own all software license management activities, including renewal tracking, compliance oversight, and vendor coordination. (Zoom, Microsoft, Adobe)
Manage IT vendor relationships
Manage and monitor IT costs for all IT services, hardware, and software to ensure financial accountability and budgeting accuracy
Own the IT documentation process by creating, updating, and maintaining comprehensive documentation for systems, processes, and institutional IT standards
Own the IT software and hardware procurement process, including requests, approvals, purchasing coordination, and tracking
Own the Software Approval process, coordinating with requestors, IT leadership, and functional stakeholders to evaluate, approve, and document software solutions
Support IT initiatives and projects assigned to ensure consistent standards across all technological operations
Collaborate with IT staff and institutional stakeholders to ensure accurate information, consistent processes, and reliable service delivery
Complex Cognitive activities
Advanced verbal and written communication often in stressful situations involving students or co-workers
Fast-paced work environment requiring quick adaptation skills in a changing strategic and tactical workplace
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Five years of proven experience in IT operations, IT procurement, IT project management, IT service desk, or a related role
