Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain custom applications and enhancements using the ABAP programming language
Create and modify Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms (RICEF), and Workflows to meet specific business needs
Develop and debug custom programs, including module pool programming, ALV reports, BAPIs, BADIs, and user exits
Analyze and optimize existing ABAP code to improve performance, reliability, and scalability
Provide ongoing technical support, debugging, and issue resolution for existing SAP applications
Adapt and modify custom code to align with new SAP versions and functional changes
Collaborate effectively with functional consultants (e.g., HR, FI, MM, SD) to gather and understand business requirements
Create comprehensive technical specifications, test cases, and user documentation
Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including agile sprint planning, unit testing, and supporting user acceptance testing
Communicate technical concepts and project updates clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Proven experience as an SAP ABAP Developer with a strong portfolio of completed projects
Proficiency in all core ABAP development techniques, including ALV reporting, dialog programming, and performance tuning
Demonstrable experience with modern ABAP enhancements such as BAPIs, BADIs, and User Exits
Solid understanding of standard SAP functional modules, particularly HR, FI, MM, and SD
Experience with SAP S/4HANA development is highly desirable
Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams
Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality technical documentation
